We are so excited to introduce Ms. LaTonya Floyd, BMP's new Assistant Principal!

Ms. Floyd holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Masters of Education in Elementary Curriculum and Instruction and Education Leadership from George Mason University. She has over 20 years of experience in elementary education, including experiences in diverse, Title 1 schools. She started her career with Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS) as a classroom teacher and has most recently served as math coach. 
 
Ms. Floyd brings a wealth of experiences as an instructional leader and a passion of meeting each student by name and by need. She believes in building relationships and trust with students, staff, parents, and community members as an important component of leading a school.  She is passionate about providing an equitable, rigorous, and inclusive education for all students.
